how do you get the url to show up in your tweets. i installed it but I want a url to take them back to the blog. it's only putting the title?

I am guessing this plugin is dead as far as development and support goes? I haven't seen anything from the author in over a year.

Thanks for the great plugin Dan, the best Twitter one I've found.

i'm trying to find a way of directly embedding the "My tweets" without using the Widget. So, by using PHP directly to emded.

Is this possible?

Love the plugin, but I've unfortunately had to disable it. I was testing it out and enabled the show retweets, and subsequently, due the formatting of those on single pages, disabled it. However, the plugin does now not recognise the fact that I've disabled it and is still displaying it. All I want is to just tweet when I have publish a new blog post

Like others I noticed the the "Tweet This" was only working for new posts. On existing pages the url for the "Tweet This" button is the url for the current post. However, If I unpublish and re-publish a blog post, the url gets built for twitter.

Hi Dan,
cool stuff! I am working on my blog and this is simply an amazing addition. I am seeing a few issues though, perhaps because of my blog's configuration:
1) I can't see any "Tweet this" like buttons, once installed and activated the updated version of the plugin linked to in this page.
2) Is it possible to make "No Tweetbacks Yet" appear at the bottom of the post?
3) "Be the first to Tweet this post" sometimes links to the post itself, sometimes to Twitter passing the status. I think I read others' comments above about the same.
4) I tried to tweet some test posts (when the "Be the first to Tweet this post" correctly links to Twitter), but I can't see any tweetbacks.
5) The "My tweets" widget doesn't seem to get updated.
For the 4) and 5), how often does the plugin automatically update the data?
Sorry for the many questions, but I'd really love to see this plugin working on my new blog!

nice plugin. works well and very smooth. no errors so far. have you thought about adding it into the wordpress plugins site? i think then we could all update automatically with 2.7. Just a thought.

@Everyone:
I have been working on integrating the ability to post through ping.fm into the TweetSuite plugin, and now fixing the issue with Tweetbacks showing up on the pages (or rather, in the database).

So far, I've seen 5 major feature requests from everyone:
#1 Include ability to use other URL Shortening services
#2 Open Tweet-This in a new window
#3 Auto Update
#4 Retro-active Tweet-This capability
#5 Tweet-This on the homepage

I've already fixed #2 with what I'm working on. Once I get finished with the main ones I started on, I'll give Dan the code to check out, and push out another release.

Sometime this weekend, I'll post more about what I'm doing over at www.thepizzy.net/blog (since this is not my blog :-p)

Is there a page or site that handles all these request or are we on our own?
The plugin is cool but like everyone else my older post don't work with the plugin alos I my button works but the count doesn't change nore do the tweetbacks, please help!

Also, the Tweet This logo isn't showing up on the front page, only when a person clicks through to display the whole post. Most people won't click on the title, they just read from the front page. Can it be shown in the post on the front page please?

I still can't get the plugin to show a Settings page with my WP 2.7.1 install on Bluehost, so I can't use it. Am I missing something?

you should add this plugin to wordpress plugins directory. Would be a lot easier to install and update.

Hi, I'm wondering why you haven't published this (and tweetback) awesome plugin on http://wordpress.org/extend... ?? WP 2.7 has a nice auto-update functionality which doesn't force me to revisit sites to get the latest release... pretty handy ;)

BTW, someone else already published tweetback.. and probably gets credit (and cash?) for it..

Any news on when or if there will be a fix for the tweet this button for pre-tweetsuite-install posts as well as for the tweet icon at the top of the posts?

They just link back to my post.

Great plug-in! I've been using it since you released it.

A lot of people have been recommending the ability to select-your-own URL shortening service when you launch TweetSuite 1.0.

If you do that, please consider including Tweetburner/Twurl as one of the options - I like that it integrates click data in addition to URL shortening.

Just installed the plugin, checked the option to have the tweet-this button float right, only nothing shows up. I may have left something out, what does it hook into to place the button?

I've just updated the plugin and Tweet-This button's still don't appear in my new posts! Is this normal?

Also, with version 0.5 my new blog posts were correctly being tweeted after selecting that option in the settings. Not any more with version 0.6!

Hope you'll look into this pretty soon, coz I voted for you! ;-)
